Pollocksville Presbyterian Child Care program is a mission project of the congregation to Jones County and the surrounding area. Pollocksville Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the oldest Presbyterian denomination in the country. We began this mission effort when there were very few opportunities for parents to place their children in a quality Christian environment where they could be sure that they were cared for with love and attention. We have been providing this special program for over 20 years. We are committed to a Christian culture where the children memorize bible verses, sing appropriate songs, and learn of the stories of both the Old and New Testament. The pastor of the church will be involved in the programing and assist the staff in their efforts to undergird the learning environment. We are open to children of all religious backgrounds and will honor the families’ specific wishes regarding religious observations.
